Check your form's exact requirement
Use the DPI your form asks for (300 is a common choice).
KB limits apply to JPG. PNG files can't be squeezed to a KB size.
Higher removes more shadows and faint marks. Lower keeps light pen strokes.
Keeps your image's width and height. Only if the file still doesn't fit, it is made a little smaller.
Keeps the same width and height. PNG is lossless (larger files); transparent areas become white in JPG.
Drag the box to choose the area, rotate if needed. The result keeps full resolution.
We try the best quality first and stop at the first one that fits.
Pages are saved as images, so text can't be selected or searched afterwards. Best for scans and photo PDFs.
Pages are scaled to fit without stretching. Text stays sharp and selectable.
Files, in this order
Pages keep their sharp text and size. Use the arrows to change the order.
Images keep their colours and shape; photos are turned upright automatically.
Headings, paragraphs, lists and bold text you can edit. Scanned pages come in as pictures.
Every page becomes one slide that looks exactly like the PDF, in colour. The page's text goes into the speaker notes.
Every page is laid out on your device and saved in colour, with text you can select and search. Fonts this device doesn't have are replaced by similar ones.
Every slide becomes one PDF page, in colour, with text you can select. Hidden slides are left out, like in a slide show.
Scripts in the page don't run. Pictures from other websites are included when they load within a few seconds.
Keep the password safe: nobody — not even GoToolVerse — can open the PDF without it.
Leave it empty if the PDF opens without a password but blocks printing or copying.

How it works
Step 1
Choose a PDF
Any PDF up to 50 MB. It is never uploaded.
Step 2
Pick how small
Choose a compression level, or the KB size your form allows.
Step 3
Download
Get a smaller PDF — or your original back if it was already small.
Tips for small PDFs
- Scanned documents and photo PDFs shrink the most.
- “Recommended” is a good balance for email and online forms.
- If a form gives a KB range (for example 50 KB to 300 KB), choose “To a KB size” and type both numbers.
Questions
My form says the PDF must be between 50 KB and 300 KB. How do I do that?
Choose "To a KB size" and type the Min and Max KB from your form (or tap 50–300 KB). The tool tries the best quality first and stops at the first version that fits. If your PDF is already inside the range, it is kept exactly as it is.
Can I still select the text afterwards?
No. To make PDFs much smaller, each page is saved as an image. This works best for scanned documents and photo PDFs.
What if my PDF is already small?
If compressing would not make it smaller, the tool tells you and keeps your original file.
Is my PDF uploaded?
No. It is compressed in your browser and is never uploaded.
